Hard Pill to Swallow: The ranch chicken flatbread is better than the chicken caesar flatbread

Back in Jan. of 2021, Eastern opened their Starbucks affiliated coffee shop, Zime. Before the renovation, Zime was called, “Jammin Java.”  With the renovation, Zime put a significant emphasis on their drinks menu because it has Starbucks main menu and some of the specialty drinks.  However, I am not going to talk about the drinks.

Home of the Brave(s): Atlanta wins its first World Series Championship in 26 years.

The MLB season is over, and the Atlanta Braves have taken the 2021 World Series Championship. They defeated powerhouse Houston Astros in six games to claim the title. The MLB postseason had a lot more to offer than just the World Series, though. A handful of wild card games and divisional thrillers packed the playoffs

Players Tribute: Eli Manning: A fan shares his thoughts on his favorite retired quarterback.

Eli Manning, the former New York Giant, and two-time Super Bowl champion and MVP, is hosting the “Manningcast” with his older brother Peyton. Eastern University Fall Sports: A wrap up to a great season for Eastern’s Fall sports teams.

Eastern University Fall teams experienced their first year in the MAC Commonwealth Conference. Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Women’s Volleyball entered this year with high expectations, as they wanted to make their mark in the new league.  First Field Hockey had an unfortunate and challenging season, finishing 3-15 and 1-7 in the conference.

Driving Equity Bills Bans Low-Level Traffic Stops in Philadelphia: Philadelphia becomes the first major city to ban police from stopping motorists for minor violations which disproportionately affects people of color.

In a vote of 14-2, Philadelphia city counsel made the majority decision to ban police from making traffic stops for minor violations. The bill, passed on Oct. 14, was implemented to assist in eliminating racial inequalities among Philadelphia drivers by preventing the chance of bias in these unnecessary stops.
