Hannah Gerber (she/her) is a Senior communication studies major with a minor in English lit. This is her third year working for the Waltonian, and her first year as the Editor-in-Chief. Hannah is a student advising specialist, a member of the Templeton Honors College and a Writing Assistant. In what little free time she has left, she enjoys embroidering, junk journaling, reading or helping out in the theatre department.
Destiny Chiles (she/her) is a Junior, English Creative Writing major, minoring in journalism at Eastern University. She has been part of The Waltonian this past Spring as Centerspread Editor. This is her first year as an Editorial Managing Editor in The Waltonian. Destiny is also Writing Assistant, a TA for multiple courses, and a Writing Center Fellow. When she does have downtime, Destiny enjoys reading books, cooking, and playing video games.
Erin Speak (she/her) is a Senior Communication Studies major with minors in Marketing and Business Administration. This is her second year working for the Waltonian, and her first year as the Digital Media Producer. Erin is a member of the women’s soccer and lacrosse team, the co-president of Morgan’s Message and the Social Media Rep. of SAAC. In what little free time she has left, she enjoys reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Ethan Muldoon is a Senior Marketing major and a student in the Templeton Honors College. He is excited to start this year as the first Advertising Manager and Web Editor for the Waltonian. In his free time, he loves mountaineering and all things music.
Natasha Chaillou is a junior Forensic Chemistry major involved in both the marching band and women’s lacrosse team. She started as a guest writer for the Waltonian in 2024 and is now editor for the arts and entertainment section. Natasha also spends her time working in the writing center and as an RA for Hainer. Her goal is to work for the FBI while also maintaining her hobby of writing on the side.
Loubetsi Koffa is a Sophomore student who loves to read and write poetry. She’s a staff writer. She loves to write out imaginative tales and spends time in Ruby’s office.
Lily Aldrich (she/her) is a Sophomore Psychology & Criminal Justice double major with a History Minor. This is her first year working as the Centerspread Editor for the Waltonian. Lily is a Student Chaplain, a member of Templeton Honors College, a writing assistant, and a tutor. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and enjoying nature.
Katheryn Nichols (she/her) is a Junior Music Education major and Theatre minor at Eastern University. This is her first year working as the Arts & Entertainment Editor for the Waltonian. In her other time, she is singing on various choirs in the Music Department, playing in the Marching Band, serving in various capacities for the yearly mainstage productions of the Theatre department, or gallivanting off to Philadelphia to interpret 18th Century American Revolutionary-Era Black Americans in Philadelphia.
Eva E. Whited is a Senior English major at Eastern University (with lots of opinions) and works as a CTLT Learning Technology Specialist and a Writing Assistant at Eastern’s Writing Center. She dreams of one day opening her own small press to promote small writers like herself and provide them with the opportunity to be read. In her free time, she loves to read thriller novels and walk aimlessly around thrift stores. She has one goal in life: get published!
Riley Graham is a Junior Psychology major. This is her first year as a Section Editor at the Waltonian. Riley is co-president of Eastern’s Art Club and a member of the Templeton Honors College. In her spare time, she enjoys playing her bass guitar, weightlifting, reading, and wandering through the woods for hours on end.
Grace Cooper is a Senior double majoring in Marketing and Business Administration. She is excited to assist in social media content as a new member of the Waltonian. She is also a member of the Women’s Volleyball team and SAAC.
Jaden Mezetin is the Photo Editor for the Waltonian, an Honors College sophomore, and a Comm/Digital Media major. He runs his own photography business on the side, sings/plays piano at events, and watches movies whenever he gets the chance.
Kiarra Dixon (she/her) is a freashmen majoring in nursing at Eastern University. This is her first year as a mesia contubitor in The Waltonian. She is also a part of the colorguard in the marching band. Say hi to her during the footballgames!
Emma Ciesielka is a sophomore Marketing major with a minor in Journalism. This is her first year working for the Waltonian as a Media Contributor. Emma is also a member of the Women’s Volleyball team. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.
CJ Summa (she/her) is a Junior English and Communications major at Eastern University. This is her first year as a media contributor in The Waltonian. She is also the president of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes club, and she is on the field hockey team.
Esther Kim is entering her senior year at Eastern University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Esther has been working for EQUIP (ARC) for two years as a Peer Coach and Writing Assistant, but outside of her time in this program, she is a Resident Assistant (RA). In her free time, you can often find her taking photos, drinking coffee, studying, or playing games.
Kennady Dean (she/her) is a Junior Communications Major at Eastern University. This is her second year as a photographer for The Waltonian. She also works primarily in the ARC Department as a peer coach and is actively involved on campus as a member of the Eastern Marching Band. Kennady participates in the EQUIP Summer Bridge Program and serves as an ACT 101 student leader, where she contributes by sitting in on board meetings. She’s also a TA for multiple classes, including INST-150, and COMM-120, and an RA for Hainer Hall.
Gloria Perez (she/her) is a Sophomore Criminal Justice major. This is her first year working for the Waltonian, and her first year as a Photographer. Gloria is also a student athlete that plays Field Hockey as well as being the Student Chaplain for her team. In what little free time she has left, she enjoys drawling and exploreing new places in Pennsylvania with friends.
Robert Walton is a senior Marketing major with a minor in Communications at Eastern University. This is his first year working as a photographer for The Waltonian. Robert is also a member of the Cross Country and Track team
Christelle Waked is a junior. She is a Criminal justice major with a minor in political science and pre law. This is her second year on the Waltonian as a photographer. Christelle is a volunteer firefighter who in her free time likes to read and paint.
Liz Kennard-Chalmers is a sophomore Biology major on the Pre-Physician Assistant track and the puzzle writer for the Waltonian. She enjoys solving puzzles almost as much as she enjoys creating them, and in her free time, you can usually find her studying with friends, watching movies, or making art.
Molli Sider-Rose is a junior English major in Templeton Honors College. She has previously written for the Waltonian in the spring of 2025 and is excited to work on the Waltonian staff again! Alongside her love of writing, she enjoys reading books, low-effort hiking, and learning about fashion history.
Ayden Parker (He/Him) is a Junior Communications Major with a minor in Sports Communication and Media. This is his first year full-time with the Waltonian, working as a Sports Writer. Ayden is also a member of the EU Track and Field team, where he competes in the Throwing events. In his free time, Ayden enjoys spending time with friends, lifting weights, playing video games, and writing.
Cass Curtorillo is a senior nursing major in the Templeton Honors College who adores all things art. She is a staff reporter with The Waltonian and loves painting, drawing or reading poetry.
Nicole Markert (she/they) is a staff member, adjunct professor, and advisor at Eastern University. They graduated from EU in 2020 with their bachelor’s in English Writing and Literature. She then went on to receive her MFA in Creative Writing and MA in Publishing from Rosemont College. They have several years of accumulated experience with non-profit publishers including Saturnalia Books, Philadelphia Stories, and Split Lip Magazine. Her poetry is also published in various literary magazines. When she is not advising the Waltonian or helping to manage the budget, she is drinking coffee and relaxing with her cats, Athena, Iris, and Egg.
I’m Ruby Baker, one of the Waltonian Advisors here at Eastern! Part of my role here at Eastern is as the Writing Center Coordinator and adjunct instructor in the English, Communication Studies, and First Year Studies departments. In my not-spare time, my work lies in creating fantastical stories of all kinds, playing D&D, and drinking far too much coffee.
