First woman to serve as Chair of Board of Trustees

Dr. Stacey Sauchuk was chosen to serve as the first female chairperson of the Eastern Board of Trustees.  Previously, Sauchuk served for several years on the Board of Trustees as Chairperson of the Academic Affairs Committee. Eagles receive MAC awards

Yvonne Herbster Sophomore forward Yvonne Herbster earned player of the week honors from Sept. 14-20. Herbster scored the lone goal in a 2-1 loss against #4 TCNJ. When field hockey defeated Widener on Sept. 17, Herbster scored the only goal, which helped Eastern win a close match 1-0.  On Sept. 19, Herbster continued her scoring
