While many of you were on Christmas break, the men’s basketball team has done well. The last 11 games have been good ones for the Eastern Eagles. Our boys have outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points, and their 8-3 record is proof of their ability to keep pace with the difficult schedule.
The term “Catholic” has all sorts of connotations, most of them negative. In the eyes of some Protestants, Catholics are nothing but idol-worshippers and followers of man-made rules. Eastern University prides itself on welcoming all Christian traditions, but that does not prevent some from forming misconceptions about the traditions less common on campus. Junior Laura
