UnityFest promotes revival through music, poetry

Students gathered in the auditorium and the Walton Dining Commons to worship God in unity and diversity.

The evenings of December 4 and 5 were the second time the UnityFest was held on Eastern’s campus.

The event, which had a revival-style format, featured music and speakers, as well as a Monday night workshop.

“The speakers were terrific,” first-year David Berkeyheiser said. “The message was really deep and moving. The room was filled with people and it seemed like everyone got something from it.”

The speakers at the event were Kevin Ruff, Edwin Robinson and Ty and Wes Holland.

Poetry and comedy were also a part of the most recent UnityFest.
