Long before both soccer teams, field hockey and volleyball had their semi-final matches, Cross Country ran in their MAC championship meet on October 30 at Delaware Valley. Although Elizabethtown College won both the men’s and women’s titles, Eastern’s teams pulled their weight. The men finished in 9th place and the women finished in 11th place.
The stage was set for Eastern’s women’s soccer team to win against Manhattanville on November 3. At the end of the first half, it seemed certain that the Eagles would win, with the scoreboard reading 2-0 in Eastern’s favor. Was anyone really surprised when Eastern’s volleyball team won the Freedom championships on November 6?
