The Eastern women’s lacrosse team had only four seniors on the squad last season. It finished with a record of 7-5 in the MAC conference and ended the season in a first round loss to FDU-Florham. This year, the Eagles only have four seniors and their goals have not changed much.
“We want to get back to the playoffs and win a MAC championship,” Kristy Getsay said.
With a relatively young squad (10 of 17 on the roster are first-years and sophomores) it is important that the team chemistry work.
Plan to root for the women’s lacrosse team as our Eagles play their first game on March 1 at Ursinius. You can catch them in action on Eastern’s campus on March 24 against Alvernia.
