Dear Editor,
I was offended that Eastern’s Waltonian would print an article paying homage to a church that protests soldiers’ funerals! I understand this is not your opinion but to think that the editors would still decide to print such an article perplexes me.
And to whoever wrote the article, I understand that as Christians we should love/understand everyone, but Westboro Baptist Church? Really? A church that believes God detests homosexuals, says America is doomed and protests the funerals of soldiers who have given their lives so that they might have the right to protest said funerals is worth your admiration? Again, I mean no offense to the editors nor the individual who wrote this.
