Labor Day trips provide wet fun

This year on Labor Day, September 4, the Student Activities Board is offering Eastern students the opportunity to go on fun and exciting day trips with their friends.

In previous years there have been trips to Ocean City, the zoo, South Street, King of Prussia Mall, the National Constitution Center and Hershey Park.

This year, however, there are only two trips being offered. Ocean City, NJ, one of the options that has been offered for the past couple years, will be happening again. That trip is free.

The other option, the Camden Adventure Aquarium, will be replacing the zoo. Last year no one signed up for the zoo trip, but after the Spring Banquet many people showed interest in a trip the aquarium, so the swap happened.

Taylor Talley, SAB special events coordinator is not yet sure about the price of the aquarium trip, but advises students to look for advertisements around campus.

“The aquarium is fun no matter how old you are,” Talley said.
