However, Griffith tallied most of her points in a 16-4 rout of Misericordia, when she unleashed for a game-high six goals and two assists.

Heading into the playoffs, Griffith currently leads the team with 47 goals and 21 assists, after a 5-goal performance in the Eagles’ season finale.

With a perfect 4-0 week in the PAC, junior pitcher Raychel Weis became Eastern’s first PAC pitcher of the week. Weis won all four of her starts, helping Eastern complete a solid 7-1 PAC week.

In a lopsided 26-0 victory over Rosemont, Weis struck-out six and gave up one hit. The next day, she pitched another complete game with 4 strikeouts, as the Eagles won 6-2.

Weis’ finest performance came in Eastern’s crucial 2-0 victory over Gwynedd-Mercy. She allowed two hits and struck out 7 batters in the shutout. Weis’ fourth win of the week gave Eastern a return trip to the PAC playoffs. She gave up a pair of runs while striking out six for the 6-2 win.
