9/22 Aaron Tritch: Men’s Soccer
Senior forward and tri-captain Aaron Tritch led the Eagles in two PAC victories during the week ending Sept. 22.
Tritch scored two goals as the Eagles defeated Centenary College 4-1. A few days later, he added a goal and assist in a tight 2-1 match at Marywood.
For the season, Tritch has five goals and three assists and is second on the team in points.
9/29 Ashley Hackman: Women’s Soccer
In a 3-0 week, junior midfielder Ashley Hackman scored three goals and four assists, to help the Eagles remain undefeated in the PAC.
In a 7-0 rout of the College of Notre Dame, Hackman scored twice and had an assist. She then assisted the game-winner in a 3-1 victory over Wilkes and added another goal and two assists as Eastern shutout Gwynedd-Mercy, 4-0.
Hackman currently leads the nation in assists for DIII, posting a school record of 16 in only 14 games, and has six goals for the season.
10/6 Emma Klein: Volleyball
For the week ending Oct. 6, senior outside hitter and tri-captain Emma Klein recorded 29 kills, 24 digs, 10 aces and three blocks.
Eastern’s lone senior led with 15 kills and 14 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Cabrini, and scored 25 individual points, including seven aces and three blocks in their 3-0 victory over Susquehanna.
Currently, Klein leads the team with 283 kills and is second in digs, contributing 328.
