On October 30, 2010, Eastern held its very first Battle of the Bands competition in the Main Gymnasium. Four different bands came out to compete for a chance at a free recording session at a studio. The four bands were Broadcast Hearts, Tokens of Home, Band 3 and Apolytose.
It was Band 3 that went home with the prize, even though they hadn’t played together until that night. All in all, Eastern’s first Battle of the Bands turned out to be a success.
