The Bottom Line

Since Winter Break, it’s been a tale of two teams for the men’s and women’s basketball teams. The women’s team has posted an impressive 5-2 record since the start of the semester. The team has been led by the stellar play of Meghan Nowak, who is fourth in the conference in scoring, average 16.2 points per game. Nowak and the Eagles look to continue their push and make a run at conference title at the end of the month.

The men’s team on the other hand, has stuggled mightily post winter break, posting an 0-7 record since that point. Through the streak, the team has battled hard, losing their past three games by a combined 7 points. The team hopes to rebound and finish off the season with a few prideful wins.

Be on the lookout for the start of spring sports as men’s and women’s lacrosse, baseball, softball and golf begin their seasons as early as the 19th of February. The first home games for most teams are set for after Spring Break.
