Eagle Update

Men’s soccer moved into first place with wins over King’s and Delaware Valley this past week.  The Del Val game was particularly thrilling.  The Eagles fell behind early as a red card left them with ten men on the field.   Down a man, they managed to rally for the 3-2 victory…Women’s soccer is heating up after a rough start, taking matches against DeSales and Delaware Valley to push their conference record to 2-3-1 and keep their playoff hopes alive…After dropping two straight to ranked competition, women’s volleyball has come roaring back with two straight wins, both sweeps.  The girls have dominated conference play, never needing more than three games to seal a match for a perfect 6-0 record…Sad news for the field hockey team: their streak of playoff appearances ended with a heartbreaking 4-3 overtime loss to conference opponent Manhattanville.  The good news: they managed to rally and defeat FDU in their next game…Cross country traveled to Haverford this past Friday for a meet.  Though the race was not scored, several runners finished in the top 25.
