The Philadelphia area was shocked by the death of a college student named Jenna Burleigh. Burleigh was a student from the lower Salford Township in Montgomery County. She had been commuting to Temple University. The local authorities have a possible suspect whose name is Joshua Hupperterz. He is now facing multiple charges, including the murder of this young woman.
According to the authorities, Hupperterz had murdered Burleigh in Philadelphia, and then he moved her to his grandmother’s property near Wayne County. The police say that there is a video showing both Burleigh and Hupperterz leaving a bar together, as evidence. The police captain, John Ryan, has told reporters that Hupperterz had admitted to “elements of the crime” in a partial confession.
The police do not yet know the cause for Burleigh’s death. When the case was reported, it was not known whether or not Hupperterz had a lawyer. The authorities, as well as others, still may not know that information now. Currently, Ryan has not ruled out the possibility of other arrests, but Hupperterz is the primary individual involved in this murder.
