While many of you were on Christmas break, the men’s basketball team has done well. The last 11 games have been good ones for the Eastern Eagles. Our boys have outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points, and their 8-3 record is proof of their ability to keep pace with the difficult schedule.
The men’s basketball team is off to a fantastic start. The Eagles started the season in style, defeating Rosemont College 58-55 in the game’s final seconds. Since then, they have had a 111-84 victory against the visiting Lions from Penn State Abington. That victory came during the Nate Ware Invitational on Friday, November 18th.
After her team returned from their march to the Final Four in St. Louis, All-American volleyball star Maria Horning reflected that this past season has been a great ending to her four-year stint playing for the Eagles.
