The 15-5 Lady Eagles are attempting something they have not been able to do since entering the Freedom Conference: make the playoffs. The Eagles have battled their way to a respectable 6-3 record in the Freedom Conference, currently good for third place.

First-year Meghan Nowak leads the pack, averaging 21.5 points per game. Senior Bekah Roland averages seven boards a game, while posting an average of 13 points per game. Sophomore guard Katie Lincoln adds an average of eight points per game.

As the Eagles push toward their first playoff appearance in the MAC, Coach Nate Davis has great confidence in his team and their play.

“Our attitudes have been great and we are as close knit as we have been all year,” Davis said.

Currently tied with DeSales for third in the Freedom Conference, the Eagles are masters of their own fate.

“We are doing better at sticking to our game plan. As our goals are getting closer, they are becoming more real and attainable,” Davis said.
