And no wonder; cheap, easy to cook, and virtually no mess to speak of, ramen noodles are ideal for college students. But to help diversify your palate without breaking your budget, here is a lesser-known ramen noodle recipe that is sure to thrill.

Caramel-Ramen Ice Cream

You need:- 1 package ramen noodles- 2 cups caramel ice cream- 1/3 cup vegetable oil- a cooking pan

To prepare:1. Crush noodles while they are still in the packaging.2. Pour vegetable oil into cooking pan. Heat on stove.3. Pour crushed noodles into pan. Heat until brown. Be careful not to burn the noodles.4. Scoop ice cream into dish. Sprinkle the hot ramen on top and enjoy.

Ramen Pudding

You need:- 1 package of ramen noodles- 1 cup of milk- 2 cups of water- anything you want to add (chocolate chips, for example)- a food processor- a cooking pot- a strainer

To prepare:1. Put the water into the cooking pot and bring to a boil.2. Add the noodles to the water once it boils. Remove once the noodles become tender and separate.3. Put the noodles, milk and whatever else you might want into the food processor. Mix until fully blended into a pudding.4. Pour pudding into bowl and enjoy.

Ultra Cheese Ramen

You need:- 2 packages of ramen noodles- 1 pack of Kraft Diner- 1 cup of Cheezwhiz- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese- 1/2 cup of milk- 4 cups of water

To Prepare:1. Cook noodles as directed on package.2. Heat Cheezwhiz in microwave until it melts.3. Add Kraft Diner Cheese and milk. Stir until fully mixed.4. Pour cheese sauce on the noodles.5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar on top and enjoy.

Jello and Ramen Noodles

You need:- 1 package of ramen noodles- 1 package of jell-o (85g)- 1/3 cup of vegetable oil- 1 cup of cold water- 1 cup of hot water- a cooking pan

To Prepare:1. Crush noodles while they are still in packaging.2. Pour vegetable oil into pan and heat.3. Pour crushed noodles into pan. Heat until brown. Be careful not to burn the noodles.4. Make jello according to directions on package. Add raman while jello is still liquid.5. Put in fridge and wait for jello to set and enjoy.
