Volleyball fights rival on the court

There are only a few volleyball games in the season where everyone on campus shows up and overfills the gym, and the match against #2 Juniata on September 24 was one of those games. Fans came out in full-force to see their Eagles take on the guest Eagles of Juniata, armed with face and body paint and ready to cheer at the top of their lungs.

Despite the fact that Eastern lost the match, all three sets were extremely close, with 23-25, 18-25 and 22-25. Our Eagles took the court immediately, driving the play for the majority of the match. The Eastern Eagles finished with a team-total of 34 kills, led by junior Courtney Reinhold and first-year Kearby Benak.
