Fall is a wonderful time for inspiration and the arts. The changing of the seasons brings a sense of rejuvenation and stimulation. What better way is there to celebrate the coming fall than to spend some time in the beautiful city of Philadelphia? On September 14-16, Rittenhouse Square will host its 8th annual Fine Arts show. This art show, which is free, will be a chance for professional artists to feature their work for a wide audience of viewers.

This fall’s show will feature more than 140 artists, as well as about 20 local student artists. None of the artist’s works will be reproduced for sale at the show; all of the art will be strictly for viewing. The show will be outdoors with each of the artists in a tent. The types of art featured range from painting and photography, to sculptures and even handmade paper.

There are multiple SEPTA stations located around Rittenhouse Square, on Lombard as well as Walnut Street. Centralparking.com offers parking discounts for nearby lots.

Times for the event are Friday 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. More information for the event is located at rittenhousesquareart.com.
Get cultured early this fall, and enjoy a day of art in the city!
