Sophomore Courtney Reinhold added another trophy to her stacked collection. The All-American outside hitter was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association as the Division III National Player of the Week, ending on the week of September 27th.

 

This marks the first time an athlete from Eastern has received the AVCA Division III National Player of the Week award.

 

Reinhold, also the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Rookie of the Year, earned tournament MVP Honors at Elizabethtown College with a sizzling .512 hitting percentage. She nailed 73 kills, helping the Eagles post a 5-0 record for the week.

 

 In the Elizabethtown tournament, Reinhold recorded six aces, five blocks and 51 digs while playing in 13 sets.

 

For the week, Reinhold averaged 5.62 kills, 4.08 digs and 6.08 points per set.
