After several seasons of barely having enough runners for a team, the 2007 cross country squads have their largest rosters ever and are beginning to turn some heads with their finishes.
At their opening meet, the Delaware Valley Invitational, the men finished 15th out of 19 and the women claimed 12th of 15.
The next week at Lebanon Valley, the teams both finished 7th. Sophomore Mike Wilson claimed 3rd place, followed by junior Ben O’Donnell. On the women’s side, sophomore Mary Fitch took 28th, with junior Alison Ridington close behind.
The teams third meet was their best yet. At the Mule/Falcon Classic. the men took 5th place, with Wilson and O’Donnell finishing 2nd and 11th, repectively and setting personal records.
The women placed 7th again with Ridington claiming 7th place overall.
