Bradstreet and crew recognized for research on national radio program

The research they have done on the binary star system V842 Herculis was recently featured on the national radio program Stardate. The system is a contact binary, which means it is two stars orbiting each other so closely that they come together into a single, huge, bowling-pin-shaped object. The study of binary stars is Bradstreet’s specialty.
