Suburban Square in Ardmore is just a few train stops away and offers a variety of shopping attractions and places to eat.
The Farmer’s Market at Suburban Square is filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, groceries and prepared dishes. We sampled a piece of homemade chocolate peanut butter cake from Stoltzfus Bakery, which was moist and delicious.
The Farmer’s Market also has fresh-made pretzels, Saxby’s coffee, Chinese food and more. If you get the Chinese dumplings, you will get your money’s worth because they give you a lot for a small price.
If you cannot find what you need at the Farmer’s Market, walk over to Trader Joe’s, which is right next to it, for even more groceries.
If you love shopping, Suburban Square is the place for you. You can spend the day shopping for clothes and accessories at stores like the two-story American Eagle Outfitters – right around the corner from Macy’s, Gap, Banana Republic, J. Crew, The Walking Company, Sunglass Hut and Urban Outfitters.
If you need computer supplies, there is also a huge Apple Computer store.
Those of you that enjoy cooking can find all of the supplies you need at Kitchen Capers or Williams-Sonoma.
Even if shopping is not your idea of fun, you will have no trouble finding something to do at Suburban Square. You can enjoy pampering at Jay Michael Salon and Spa or grab a bite to eat at one of the food shops.
Fulfill your craving for a good cup of coffee at Starbucks or Corner Baker Café, satisfy your sweet tooth at Cold Stone Creamery or get a meal at Ruby’s Diner.
If you ever grow tired of shopping at King of Prussia mall, just hop on the R5 and go to Ardmore where you will find plenty of stores to spend time in.
