African-American culture festival rained upon, but to be followed by reggae show

Merchants were not discouraged despite sporadic rainfall at the African American Festival on August 27 at Penns Landing in Philadelphia.

African-American culture was the feature for those who visited the festival.

Numerous merchants both sold their wares and educated visitors about the history and significance of their merchandise.

The African weave baskets were handmade with natural leaves and dye. There was also a wealth of African fashions available.

There will be a reggae concert at the same spot in Penns Landing on September 18th, which many of the merchants from this show plan to attend.
