The Eastern men’s soccer team is off to a 7-2 start, a very good record going into conference play, which kicks off this weekend. The Eagles travel to FDU-Florham this weekend before returning home on homecoming weekend to take on Manhattanville.

Once conference play starts it is important to play well and get wins since only the top four teams in the conference make the conference playoffs. The Eagles are a good blend of young talent and experience.

Two young freshmen, Jadon Ramsing and Andrew Ferman, have made an immediate impact on the team. Ramsing, who plays center mid for the Eagles, has gained instant respect as he has started and played well early this season. Ferman, who plays attacking mid, brings speed and physicality to the Eagles that helps balance the attack.
