United States House Passes the CROWN Act: After many years of pushing for policy change, the CROWN Act bans race-based hair discrimination.

On Friday, March 18, The House passed the CROWN Act, with a vote of  235-189. It was largely on party lines with 14 Republicans joining the Democrats.  The act was introduced by Rep. PGA’s 2022 Players Championship: A look at the unusuality of this year’s tournament at TPC Sawgrass.

Off and on weather delays and play suspensions clouded the field of professional golfers in this year’s Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. Play was halted several times over the four rounds in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., as heavy rainfall peppered the course. The first round, scheduled for Thursday, March 10, concluded on Friday, March 11.

A Historic Season Ends: The Eastern Eagles lost 65-88 in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

This past season for the Eastern’s men’s basketball team was the best in the program’s history so far.
