The Men’s Lacrosse team plans to play one game in their Florida tournament. They will then work for Habitat for Humanity for two days, rebuilding homes in Clearwater, Fla.
When the guys come back, they’ll be practicing a lot for their upcoming matches, especially the game against Cabrini, whose team is ranked nationally. But Coach Levis is optimistic about his team and hopes to see men’s lacrosse rank second or third in the conference and make a run for the playoffs.
“The guys put in a lot more effort in practice,” Levis said. “They can do more, and that will help us in the long run.”
Seniors Ben O’Donnell and Nick Mandia, juniors Dan Sharbaugh, Zach Rivest, Mike Ryan and Paul Macerino are all players to watch for this season on the field. Another player who might take the field is senior Pat Dempsey who was injured during the summer.
