The Eastern Field Hockey team enters the playoffs on November 2nd, as the
#2 seed in the conference. Posting a 6-1 record in conference, the Eagles have finished the regular season only two games above .500 at 10-8. The Eagles’ only conference loss came at the hands of FDU-Florham in an exciting overtime game that was played at FDU on October 20. “I look forward to the high level of competition and the challenges it brings for our team heading into the playoffs,” junior Kelby Bolton said. Other members of the team look forward to seeking revenge against FDU-Florham. “I’m excited. We play well under pressure and I can’t wait to play FDU-Florham and keep the winning tradition going at Eastern,” senior Sara Blaylock said. With a first round bye, you can catch the Eastern field hockey team back in action as they host visiting Kings College on November 2nd, at 2:30 in the Freedom conference semifinals.
