Here is the scenario: it is late at night, the homework is done, you’re almost done studying for that hard test and you and your friends just want to take a break from the books and chat it up. It may be the perfect time to grab a bite to eat.
There is a problem that causes a simple dispute among your circle of friends. Where should you go to enjoy a filling meal on a college student budget? The answer to that problem may be a nice late-night meal at Applebee’s. Applebee’s offers a variety of appetizers for half price after 9 p.m.
The Applebee’s in Havertown is large, which is great for fast seating. When my friends and I dropped in, our empty stomachs were grateful.
Our goal was simple: we had to order from the late-night appetizer menu and get a filling meal out of it. The orders were honey boneless barbeque wings, mild boneless wings, mozzarella sticks and a chicken finger basket. To quench our thirst we each ordered a tall glass of water with a lemon. The restaurant had comfortable seating, great for relaxing and having a nice conversation. The dimmed lights were a perfect addition to the relaxed atmosphere.
After a 15-minute wait for our meal, our food came out, piping hot.
The honey boneless barbeque wings were presented with crunchy celery sticks and ranch dressing. The mild boneless wings were served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. The barbeque sauce on the boneless wings was tasty.
