One thing you’ve learned at Eastern: Sleep is not as “optional” as we college students think…
Favorite Waltonian memory: Seeing my name in the paper for the first time. It may not be the New York Times, but having my writing published in various sections of the paper has pushed me to develop different styles of writing.
ANASTASIA CARROLL

One thing you’ve learned at Eastern: Everyone, EVERYONE is worthy of love. I’m so thankful to have had professors and friends during my time at Eastern who have showed me that every day. The community that Eastern upholds has taught me to approach all that I say and do with love of the other in mind, which is something I hope to always hold onto.
Favorite Waltonian memory: It’s a tie between tricking Matt Wolek into believing I had a tattoo and scaring Matt with the office mouse–so basically, pranking Matt is my favorite memory.

One thing you’ve learned at Eastern: Paper towel dispensers are an important thing to give as a gift.
Favorite Waltonian memory: The legendary cheese at the December 2015 Waltonian party that Kat Hayes bought, and the 2016 Brangelina breakup and divorce. (It was a very traumatic thing for everyone, because true love had died that day, but we persevered.)

One thing you’ve learned at Eastern: I have learned that education ought to always be about love. Education that does not turn our gaze toward one another is worth nothing.
