Eastern students,  grab your planners and update your calendars! Student Activities Board (SAB) has a great semester planned full of events. Get ready to build college memories through dances, a concert, and coffee houses. SAB is still in the process of finalizing locations and details for some events, so information is subject to change.

Jan. 29 – Coffeehouse

This coffeehouse will take place during Explore Eastern weekend at the Warner Library Atrium. Performances will include dance, poetry, and comedy. Support your friends as they perform!

Feb. 5 – Winter Dance

Relieve the tension caused by the cold, and sweat it out on the dance floor at SAB’s winter-themed dance!

Feb. 19 – Karaoke Night, Jammin’ Java

For all singers: car, bathroom, dorm, choir… this is your moment to shine and belt your favorite tunes with a group or by yourself! Don’t sing? Go anyway and support your brave friends.

March 11 – Lecrae Concert

It’s true — Lecrae is coming to Eastern! Tickets will be around $12, one per student ID. SAB is also having a super sale at the beginning of February. Who knows, maybe you can meet Lecrae by volunteering for SAB? If interested in volunteering, email Dylan Byrne.

April 9 – Spring Banquet

Ladies and gentlemen, get your fancy attire and dancing shoes for a fabulous night of delicious food and socializing. The location and theme is TBD. Tickets will cost approximately $35. SAB will provide some van transportation for students.

April 15 – Outdoor Coffeehouse

Another chance to share your talent with peers and cheer each other on!

April 22 – “Movie on the Hill”

SAB has yet to determine which film they will screen at this annual event on the Kea-Guffin hill.
