Coming from their home bases in New York and Los Angeles, UCB Tour Co is made up of the best of the best that UCB has to offer.  UCB has been the launch pad for careers on “Saturday Night Live,” “The Office” and “30 Rock.”  This night is bound to be full of big laughs and great humor.

Sunday, March 30 – Gorilla Music presents: The Philadelphia Battle of the Bands

On the docket for the night are local bands: The Third Rail; Rekindle; Kid Dynomite; Grounded By Fire; Black Ties; Left of Logic; Bite Size Giant; The Phosphenes; and Cut the Motor.

Friday, April 4 – Mishka

Hawaiian based Mishka has grounded himself in his Reggae Caribbean roots, and is bringing his eclectic sound to Philadelphia.

Saturday, April 12 – Rockin’ Docs for Diabetes Cure

Benefitting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Rockin’ Docs for Diababetes Cure is a night of four local bands, all with local doctor-musicians bringing their music to help raise money to find a cure.  Come out to this and be sure to feel better leaving.

Monday, April 14 – Dave Barnes

Following the release of his eighth LP “Golden Days,” the 35 year-old Dave Barnes is making a stop in Philly.  This soulful singer-songwriter will undoubtedly fill the night with beautiful sounds from both his guitar and his voice.

Monday, April 21 – The Philadelphia Moth StorySLAM

The Moth is an organization and a weekly podcast that hosts the telling of real people’s real stories.  They are in the fight to prove that everyone is made up of a bunch of stories.  To help prove this, they host their Moth StorySLAMs.  These StorySLAMs have audience members place their names into a hat at the opening of the doors, and then throughout the night, the names are drawn and the stories are told as truthfully as possible.
